That is exactly what Maisie and Charlie did.
Their Flagstaff House wedding in Boulder, Colorado was a beautiful reminder that there is no “right” way to plan a wedding day. Their celebration started in the morning, their reception wrapped up around 3 PM, and instead of the day ending there, they got to walk away as newlyweds with the rest of the day completely theirs.
And honestly? I loved that.
Nestled high above Boulder in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Flagstaff House is one of those Colorado wedding venues that makes an incredible backdrop for a wedding day. With sweeping views of Boulder, the surrounding mountains, and beautiful outdoor spaces, the setting already feels special before you even add a bride and groom.
Maisie and Charlie chose to experience that setting during the morning, creating a wedding day that felt intimate, intentional, and completely their own.
There was something so refreshing about seeing the day unfold without the pressure of needing to stretch the celebration late into the night.
Instead, they got to soak it all in. The excitement.
The emotions. The ceremony.
The portraits. The food.
The laughter. The people they love.
And then, by 3 PM, they were officially husband and wife with the rest of the day waiting for them.
